Who is responsible for your information?

Agriculture Value-Chain Network Ltd, company number 14482448, is responsible for personal information collected through Unity Bean and AVN Earth. Contact us at hello@unitybean.co.uk.

What we may collect

When you send an enquiry, the website stores the information you submit. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, business name, business type, postcode, the coffee you’re interested in, how much coffee you use and anything you add to the message field.

Our hosting provider may also process basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as an IP address, browser type, request time and security logs.

Why we use it

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, arrange samples, prepare quotes, send updates you asked for, open trade accounts, fulfil orders, maintain customer relationships and meet our legal and accounting responsibilities.

Depending on the situation, we rely on steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and improving Unity Bean, consent for optional marketing where required, or a legal obligation. Marketing opt-ins are optional and recorded separately. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.

Who we share it with

We may share only the information needed with trusted providers supporting website hosting, form-email delivery, customer management, payments, delivery, professional advice or legal compliance. These providers may use the information only for the agreed service. We do not sell or rent personal information.

If information must be processed outside the United Kingdom, we will use the safeguards required by UK data-protection law.

How long we keep it

We normally keep unconverted enquiries and priority-list details for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. Customer, transaction and accounting records may be kept longer where needed to meet contractual, tax or legal requirements. Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us to provide a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, transfer it, or stop processing it. You may also object to certain uses and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We do not use your information for solely automated decisions.

Contact hello@unitybean.co.uk to make a request. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies and measurement

This site does not currently use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. Essential technical processing may be used to operate, protect and deliver the site. If optional analytics, advertising or embedded services are introduced, this notice and any required consent choices will be updated first.
